Colorado Sage Femme offers two types of doula services - a traditional labor doula or a family service doula. Every birth is remembered and that is why it means so much to every father and mother. This is not the doctor’s birth, the nurses, the midwife’s, or Nicole's - this is YOUR birth and YOUR baby! For this reason, Colorado Sage Femme supports nearly every style of delivery. Whether induced or spontaneous, medicated or un-medicated, a planned repeated cesarean or a vaginal birth after cesarean, in a hospital or at home, this is YOUR birth and YOUR baby. Please know Nicole will encourage you to educate yourself regarding your choices in labor and the procedures which may occur during delivery. She supports educated decisions 100%!

Traditional Labor Doula

Colorado Sage Femme offers compassionate and dedicated labor support. Nicole believes that most labors, if left to a mother's inborn capabilities, will progress smoothly and naturally. She believes every member of the birth team should honor the mother’s decision in how she would prefer to birth. She believes obstetric procedures can save lives during emergencies and high risk pregnancies.

Studies have shown that mothers supported by a doula during labor have:

60% reduction of epidural requests

Traditional Labor Doula: $500

Family Support Doula:
$200 for one child age 4 or up
$250 for one child up to 4 yrs
$250 for multiple children ages 4 and up
$300 for multiple children up to 4 yrs
