Colorado Sage Femme services the Denver/Aurora/Parker area with caring labor doula services and informative childbirth education classes. Sage Femme (pronounced sahj fem) translated from French means 'wise woman', this name was chosen to represent the wisdom all mothers and families glean from their pregnancy and birth experiences. Nicole is dedicated to the belief that every birth is remembered. Each birth experience presents joys and challenges which are remembered forever, often reshaping the relationship between mother, father, siblings, and new baby.

Nicole seeks to meet the needs of each family individually, respecting their educated decisions and approaches to birth. Her goal is to help educate women about their birth choices, to support the unique bond created between father and mother through labor and helping siblings adjust to their new brother or sister. She believes that through knowledgeable and caring support families learn not to fear the birth experience and this makes the journey a more peaceful one.

Nicole is a dedicated wife and mother to three boys. She has experienced the challenges of labor and birth personally through the birth of her two younger boys; and understands the special bond of step-parenting an older child from her husband’s previous marriage. Nicole began working as a doula and childbirth educator over seven years ago while living in Orlando. She is currently pursuing her certification through CAPPA and is excited to bring her services to the Denver area.
